Dusan Tadic, 37, is likely to return to the Serbian national football team, according to Serbian media. The NEC veteran recently held talks in the Netherlands with Ranko Stojic, technical director of the Serbian FA. Tadic, who has not scored in nine matches this season, retired two years ago after a dispute with then-coach Dragan Stojkovic. Serbia, now coached by Veljko Paunovic, will announce its squad on Friday. If selected, Tadic could face the Netherlands in Nations League matches on 2026-09-27 and 2026-10-04.
