Joe Speedboot and Truly Naked Lead Gouden Kalveren Nominees
The nominations for the 46th edition of the Netherlands Film Festival’s Gouden Kalveren awards were announced in Utrecht, with the film Joe Speedboot leading as the favorite with seven nominations. Based on Tommy Wieringa’s novel, it competes for best feature film alongside categories for camera, editing, and design, while actors Daan Buringa, QiQi van Boheemen, and Ramses van Hall are also nominated. Truly Naked follows closely with six nominations, making director Muriel d’Ansembourg the most-nominated creator of the evening. The awards will be presented on October 2 during the Gouden Kalveren Gala.
