Driver Pays 100,000 Euro Tax Debt During Check in The Hague
During an enforcement operation in Scheveningen and Duindorp, the Dutch Tax Administration collected over 190,000 euros in outstanding vehicle tax debts by inspecting 38 vehicles. One driver immediately paid a 100,000 euro debt, while twelve vehicles were seized for a combined debt of 78,000 euros. The integrated action involved police, the municipality, and other agencies conducting various checks to improve safety and livability. Additionally, two individuals were arrested, one for evading a prison sentence related to traffic offenses and another for refusing to pay an outstanding fine.
