Siegfried Woldhek Wins Inktspot Prize for the Second Time
Illustrator Siegfried Woldhek has won the Inktspot Prize for best political cartoon of the year for a second time, previously winning in 2011. His award-winning drawing depicts Russian President Vladimir Putin playing American President Donald Trump like a double bass, published in NRC on August 15 last year during their meeting in Alaska. The jury praised the work's impressive style and aesthetic impact.
