Dutch hospitals face computer issues, patients unable to access records
Several Dutch hospitals, including Frisius MC in Leeuwarden and Amphia Ziekenhuis in Breda, experienced IT system failures that prevented patients from accessing their medical data via digital portals. Frisius MC temporarily disabled certain systems for security reasons, clarifying that no hacking occurred and no patient data was compromised. Elisabeth-TweeSteden Ziekenhuis also implemented preventive measures following signals from an external party, affecting some services outside the hospital.
