Trial Successful: Over 60 Percent of Amsterdam Asylum Seekers Find Jobs or Move Toward Paid Work
The Amsterdam pilot program aimed at helping asylum seekers find employment has proven successful and will continue. Since 2025, one-third of eligible participants have secured jobs, while a similarly large group has taken steps toward paid work. Most participants found positions in hospitality, transport, and logistics, with five individuals employed by the municipality.
