Nearly 500 Arrests in International Police Action Against Criminal Networks
Led by Belgium, the Atlas Nexus operation involving 34 countries resulted in 490 arrests targeting criminal networks engaged in drug trafficking, human smuggling, and arms dealing. Launched in 2022, the initiative dismantled dozens of groups and seized over 150 tons of drugs in Latin America and the Caribbean.
