Young hacker now also suspected of murder orders: who is whizzkid Pepijn van der S.?
Pepijn van der S., a 24-year-old from Amsterdam, was arrested on suspicion of participating in the ShinyHunters hacking collective and attempting to solicit two murders abroad. Previously convicted of extortion and data theft, he had been working as an ethical hacker at Neo Security before his arrest by the Dienst Speciale Interventies (DSI). His employer, Benjamin Korper, expressed shock and eroded trust following the allegations, while police confirmed that evidence found on Van der S.'s laptop suggests he issued orders for the killings. He remains in full isolation with his pre-trial detention extended by 90 days.
