German Nadine Seidenglanz succeeds De Wit as technical director of Dutch skating federation KNSB
The Dutch Skating Union (KNSB) has appointed Nadine Seidenglanz as its new technical director, effective December 1. The 42-year-old German, a former speed skater, replaces Remy de Wit and holds a contract through the 2030 Winter Olympics in Heerenveen. Seidenglanz previously worked for the KNSB and most recently served as secretary-general for the German skating federation DESG since 2020. In her role, she leads the selection committee responsible for assembling teams for international competitions and oversees top sport and talent development. Her appointment follows controversy surrounding her time at DESG, where journalists alleged an atmosphere of fear and financial irregularities, claims denied by DESG president Matthias Große.
