Government Expands Rules for Corpses: Resomeration and Joint Burials Allowed
Minister Pieter Heerma announced plans to modernize burial laws, allowing couples to be buried or cremated together and introducing resomeration, a process converting bodies into liquid and powder. This method, already used in other countries, would join existing options of burial and cremation.
