Woman in US shot dead by hunter who mistook her for a deer
A 74-year-old Delaware hunter, Walter Moorhead, fatally shot a woman he mistook for a deer while she was walking with her husband and two children on Friday. The victim died in the hospital despite first aid provided by officers at the scene. Moorhead has been charged with manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and carrying a firearm during the commission of a crime.
