Homes near notorious 'TikTok queue' in Amsterdam drop 11.4 percent in value
Research by TU Delft PhD candidate Rosa van der Drift reveals that house prices within 70 meters of Fabel Friet in Amsterdam’s Negen Straatjes fell by 11.4 percent following the start of daily tourist queues in 2022. The study, which analyzed 6,333 home sales between 2015 and 2023, found a price loss of approximately 41,000 euros compared to similar homes further away.
