Court Blocks Return of Asylum Seekers to Italy Again
The Aliens Chamber in Utrecht has ruled that three asylum seekers cannot be returned to Italy, citing risks of homelessness and lack of basic necessities. The court found that despite Italy's June pledge to improve reception conditions under the European migration pact, Minister Van den Brink failed to prove that fundamental rights are protected.
