More than half of Dutch defense's key weapons systems partially unusable
A 'State of Defense' report reveals that thirteen of the twenty-two most critical military weapon systems are not fully operational due to maintenance backlogs and staff shortages. While commanders can still deploy some assets like the frigate Evertsen for specific roles, the lack of spare parts and technicians limits training capabilities, though ten systems are expected to be restored later this year.
