Samuel Welten Wins at Buma NL Awards, New Prize Named After René Karst
Samuel Welten won the awards for most successful single and most successful pub hit at the Buma NL Awards in Tilburg for his song "Echte liefde is te koop." The event also introduced the first René Karst Award, presented by Thomas Karst to Justen de Wildt and his team for their work on "Cheerio," honoring the late songwriter who died in late 2025.
