Rob Kemps Asked Sick Mother for Permission for Honeymoon on Her Deathbed
Singer Rob Kemps shared an emotional story about asking his terminally ill mother for permission to go on a honeymoon with his partner Stephanie Klaver before her death. The couple planned to travel to French Polynesia to visit Jacques Brel's grave, a dream Kemps had held since age 17, but his mother entered hospice care one week prior to departure. She encouraged them to go, and they agreed to meet upon his return; she was still alive when he arrived back on Thursday but passed away on Friday.
