Plan for 250 Homes for Young Adults Aged 18 to 28
Woonconcept 1828 has purchased a former KPN telephone exchange site on Van Aalstlaan in Zoetermeer’s Palenstein district to develop approximately 250 homes for young adults aged 18 to 28. The project, currently in the development phase, aims to start construction in 2028 and will primarily consist of social rental studios with shared facilities. Rent is capped at roughly one-third of net disposable income, with about 85% of units designated as social housing. A youth panel involving 15 to 20 residents will help shape the design and amenities, with participants receiving priority allocation subject to standard eligibility criteria.
