Leader of Child Pickpocket Gang in Paris Sentenced to Eight Years in Prison
Roberto Hamidovic, the 48-year-old leader of a gang using children as pickpockets in Paris, was sentenced to eight years in prison for human trafficking. The group, known as the "Hamidovic clan," exploited young girls as young as ten to steal valuables across the city, generating an average of 25,000 euros daily.
