Tennis player Lamens secures first WTA victory since October last year
Suzan Lamens defeated Brazil's Carolina Alves 3-6, 7-6 (2), 6-2 in the first round of the São Paulo WTA tournament. The match was postponed by rain and saw Lamens overcome a significant deficit to secure her first win at this level since October, recovering from a 4-0 start in the opening set and multiple break point deficits in the second.
