Verhaeren Leaves as Sporting Director at Visma Cycling Team After Two Years
Jacco Verhaeren will step down as sporting director of the Visma-Lease a Bike cycling team at the end of the calendar year, having decided not to renew his expiring contract. The 57-year-old, who also serves as Performance Strategist for Top Swimming at the Dutch swimming federation KNZB, stated that the team requires different leadership to advance.
