Sprinter De Kleijn Best Again in GP de Fourmies
Arvid de Kleijn has won the GP de Fourmies, as he did two years ago. The Tudor rider was the fastest in the bunch sprint after 200 kilometers on an undulating course, securing his first victory of the season. On wet roads in northeastern France, Lionel Taminiaux (Lotto-Intermarché) tried to avoid a sprint but was caught three kilometers from the finish. De Kleijn, 32, timed his sprint well, overtaking Germany’s Tobias Müller. Paul Magnier and Olav Kooij did not contest the sprint in the chaotic finale.
