Children's Book Author Sjoerd Kuyper (74) of 'Het Zakmes' Has Died
Dutch author Sjoerd Kuyper, known for his book 'Het Zakmes', died on Tuesday evening at the age of 74 after a short illness, publisher Hoogland & Van Klaveren announced on Wednesday. Kuyper was active for over fifty years, writing more than eighty books, including the series about Robin, and received numerous awards such as the Gouden Griffel and the Theo Thijssen Prize.
