Dutch volleyballers squander lead again and are eliminated from the European Championship
The Dutch men's volleyball team has been eliminated from the European Championship. Under coach Joel Banks, the squad suffered its fourth defeat at Tampere against host nation Finland. Like their match against Serbia on Monday, the Netherlands surrendered a lead and lost in five sets (25-18, 21-25, 26-24, 20-25, 11-15), ending their tournament campaign.
