Horas Simanullang, 64, runs a mini-department store in The Hague that serves as a social hub and reflects his personal interests. After suffering a stroke in 2018, he underwent rehabilitation and was surprised to return to work, reopening his shop in early 2020 despite the subsequent pandemic closure.
