New Pet Policy: Owners of Aggressive Dogs Required to Attend Courses; Chip and Registration Mandatory for Cats
Dutch State Secretary for Agriculture Silvio Erkens (VVD) has proposed new pet regulations requiring owners of dog breeds prone to biting incidents to attend mandatory courses. Failure to comply could result in higher penalties if the dog bites a person or another animal. Additionally, the plan introduces chip and registration requirements for cats.
