Man Attempts to Ram Police with Car, Officer Fires Warning Shots
Police in Someren, North Brabant, fired shots at a suspect who attempted to flee and ram an officer with a car on Friday evening. Two Polish suspects, aged 24 and 41, were involved after police responded to a firearm threat in neighboring Asten. One suspect was quickly apprehended, while the second fled on foot, re-entered the vehicle, and drove away at high speed before being caught later that night. The targeted officer filed a complaint for attempted manslaughter. No injuries were reported, though bullet holes were found in two vehicles.
