Golden Eye Winner John Turturro Pleased with Reactions to New Film
John Turturro expressed satisfaction regarding positive critical responses to his film The Only Living Pickpocket in New York and acknowledged the possibility of an Oscar nomination after receiving the Golden Eye Award. Speaking at a masterclass during the Zurich Film Festival, the 69-year-old actor stated that while recognition is great, it is not the primary motivation for his work. He emphasized that he is not competitive but aims to continuously improve his craft. Turturro also confirmed that his character Irving Bailiff will return in the upcoming third season of the Apple TV series Severance.
