Suspect Arrested in Home; Search for Driver Who Ended Up in Water Continues
On Friday evening, a suspect was arrested by a special police team at a residence on Kerkachterweg in Poortugaal, after which the house was searched. The reason for the arrest remains unknown. Separately, in Bleiswijk, a driver’s car ended up in the water under the high-speed rail line on Cyclamenweg during the night from Friday to Saturday. Divers from the fire department conducted an extensive search but did not find the driver. A crane towed the vehicle out of the water.
