Scooter rider resuscitated for extended period after serious accident
A scooter rider was severely injured in a collision with a car at an intersection on Kievit street in Sprang-Capelle on Tuesday evening around 19:30. Emergency services, including two ambulances and a trauma helicopter, responded to the scene where the rider underwent resuscitation for approximately twenty to thirty minutes before being transported to a hospital in Tilburg under the supervision of a trauma doctor. Police are investigating the exact circumstances, including witness reports of high speed, and have temporarily closed the intersection.
