German Man, 84, Kills Wife While Parking
An 84-year-old man in Niedernhausen, Germany, fatally struck his 80-year-old wife after accidentally accelerating while reversing his car during a parking maneuver. The incident occurred yesterday shortly after 14:00 when the driver hit another vehicle, then drove forward and suddenly sped up, hitting his wife who was standing in front of the car. He continued at high speed through the residential street, damaging garden fences, parked cars, and a camper before stopping 150 meters away.
