Government Aims for Half of New Homes to Be Factory-Built Within Four Years
The Dutch government plans to have half of all new housing units produced in factories within four years to accelerate construction and address labor shortages. Housing Minister Elanor Boekholt-O’Sullivan presented the Acceleration Action Plan, which simplifies regulations and reduces approval times from eight years to four.
