Monique was abused by her brother from age six: 'I knew very well: this is wrong'
In a Mezza magazine feature, Monique recounts being sexually abused by her older brother starting at age six while living on Texel. After moving to Limburg at ten, she gained confidence and finally told her mother, leading to the brother's removal by youth care.
