Alcaraz to Return to ABN Amro Open Next Year After Withdrawing This Year
Carlos Alcaraz has committed to participating in the ABN Amro Open tournament in Rotterdam in 2027. The 2025 winner was also scheduled to play this year but withdrew shortly beforehand due to fatigue after winning the Australian Open and completing a career grand slam. Alcaraz stated, “Missing this year hurt. The matches, the energy, my first indoor title... I want to experience that again.” Currently ranked world number three, Alcaraz has won seven grand slam tournaments. Alex de Minaur and Félix Auger-Aliassime also confirmed their participation.
