Disturbances Surround IJsselmeervogels Again After Player Punching: 'I Thought, What Now Again?'
Following a recent incident where an IJsselmeervogels player was knocked out, further unrest occurred outside the sports complex in Bunschoten-Spakenburg on Saturday. Police received reports around 17:00 of two groups involving approximately twenty people fighting with sticks and steel pipes on De Westdijk. Although one person sustained minor injuries, no arrests were made, and the situation was quickly controlled. Club board member Gerrit Kok expressed frustration at the recurring negative association with the club but confirmed that supporters were not involved. The disturbances happened during a match against Rijnsburgse Boys, which IJsselmeervogels won 3-0.
