Italy extends diesel excise cut by one week: set to be last general discount
The Italian government has extended the discount on diesel at petrol stations: the 17.1 cent per litre cut will remain in force until 17 September. It is the 15th measure to curb rising fuel prices, with an overall cost of about €2.7 billion.
