Survey finds high demand for freelancers does not mean they have work lined up
According to a new analysis of Knab’s 2026 Hourly Rates Survey, 42% of self-employed professionals in the Netherlands have work secured for only the next three months or less. The survey, which included 16,800 respondents, highlights that despite high demand for freelancers, many face uncertainty about future assignments. The findings suggest that short-term contracts and lack of long-term commitments remain common challenges for freelancers in the Dutch market as of 2026-09-12.
